Bojan Janić

Bojan Janić ( Serbian Cyrillic Бојан Јанић; born November 3, 1982 in Leskovac, Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian volleyball player.

Career

Janić began his career in 2002 in OK Vojvodina. With the team from Novi Sad, he won in the first season, the national cup of Serbia and Montenegro. In the same year he reached the national final of the World League in third place in the World Cup. Then the external attacker joined the Italian league, where he played for Estense Ferrara Torri and the following season for Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia. In 2005, the national team came after re- finals in the World League at the European Championships at home to third place. Janić went for a year to Spain to Unicaja Almería, before he stood from 2006 to 2008 in the Italian second division Codyeco Marmi Lanza Verona Santa Croce and under contract. At Euro 2007, the Serbs were third again. In 2008 she participated as World League finalist at the Olympic tournament in Beijing, where the team was defeated by eventual champion USA with Janić in the quarterfinals. In the next season the outside attacker played in Poland Trefl Sopot and in the World League 2009 Serbia was second again. Janić moved to the Czech Republic to the UK Jaroslavice. In 2011 he was engaged by Fakel Novy Urengoy. In 2012 he played with Serbia at the Olympic Games in London.
