Bokeem Woodbine

Bokeem Woodbine ( born April 13, 1973 in New York City ) is an American actor.

Life

Woodbine grew up in New York City in Harlem. He first attended the Dalton School in New York before he moved to the LaGuardia School of Music and Art. At the age of 19 he played in Forest Whitaker's directorial debut with school violence (1993). After the completion of the film Jason's Lyric (1994 ), he moved to Los Angeles. Since then, he has appeared in several television series and feature films, including Ray (2004), Devil (2010) and Total Recall (2012 ). His filmography includes more than 70 productions.
