Bongili (also Bokiba, Bongiri, Bungili and Bungiri ) is a Bantu language and is spoken by about 4,000 people in the Republic of Congo.
It is distributed in the department Sangha Sangha along the river south of Ouesso.
Bongili is written in the Latin script.
Classification
Bongili forms with the languages Bomitaba, Dibole, Mbati, Ngundi and Pande Ngundi the group. After the classification of Malcolm Guthrie Bongili belongs to the Guthrie - area C20.
