Bonifazio Veronese

Bonifacio Veronese (also: Bonifacio Veneziano, native: Bonifacio de ' Pitati; * ca 1487 in Verona, † October 19, 1553 in Venice) was an Italian painter.

Variously known by his birth name Bonifazios de'Pitati. Between 1505 and 1515 attracted Bonifazio parents to Venice, where the boy received his first training in painting. He was probably a pupil of Palma Vecchio.
