First Season

The first season includes 18 episodes. After only 12 episodes broadcast the station took a two month break and moved the transmission time from Sunday to Friday, before the transfer of the remaining six episodes was continued in March 2003.

Second Season

In order to excite the transmitter for a second season, the producers decided to change the standard typical style and the cast has been revised. But that was the coup de grace for Boomtown, which already caused in the first season for a low rate at the transmitter and thus laid NBC after only two episodes of the series put on hold and continued broadcasting of Law & Order. Despite the creative narrative style, good reviews and some awards the series addressed to little audience and was therefore permanently discontinued. On December 27, 2003 NBC showed three of the four remaining episodes before the last episode of Boomtown was broadcast on 28 December 2003.
