Bor is a town in the province of Nigde in Turkey and also the name of the then managed the district. The city is situated on a high plateau (1100 m) about 14 km north of the provincial capital of Nigde.

The county has a population of about 60,000 people, of which about 35,000 live in the town itself.

Attractions

A few kilometers south of the city are in Kemerhisar the ruins of ancient Tyana, including an impressive aqueduct. About 18 kilometers south-east can be seen in the village Gökbez a relief of the Hittite God Tarhunzas.
