Borisav Jović

Borisav Jovic (* October 19, 1928 in Nikišić to Batočina, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, now Serbia) is a former belonged Serbian communist politician, who in the late 1980s and early 1990s in Yugoslavia 's leading politicians. He stood Slobodan Milošević very close and helped him at the beginning of the 1990s to expand his power. He became known through the rejection of the Brioni Agreement, which assured the independence of Slovenia after the 10 -day war.

At the end of his presidential mandate 1991, he prevented the Croat Stjepan Mesic rotational basis, the Presidency took over as it was provided in the Constitution.
