Oscar Börje Leander ( born March 7, 1918 in Avesta, † 30 October 2003 in Mora ) was a Swedish football player.

Career

Leander played until 1938 for Dalängens FK, IK Sports, Solnapojkarna and Vasalunds IF. He then went to AIK Solna. Until 1953, he played at the club and played 249 games in the Allsvenskan, where reach 25 goals in him. 1949 and 1950 he was cup winners. After relegation to Division 2 in 1951, he remained loyal to the club and managed the team its chances of promotion.

Between 1941 and 1950 he carried 23 times the jersey of the Swedish national team. He succeeded in attaining four international goals, all from the penalty spot. The country selection, he won at the 1948 Olympic Games gold medal.
