Born is a small impact crater near the eastern edge of the moon. It is located northeast of the striking crater Langrenus and south of the crater Maclaurin.

Born is circular and substantially cup -shaped. The crater has to dark spots, which extend from the center to the northeastern edge, no special features.

Marriage Born in 1979 by the International Astronomical Union ( IAU) received his own name, he was known as the Maclaurin Y.
