Borujerdis House

The Khaneh Borudjerdi (also: Khane -ye -ye Borūjerdīhā or Hane Borūǧerdī, Persian خانه بروجردیها ) was the large family home of a wealthy merchant named Qajar Sayyed Jafar Natanzi, also known as Boroujerdi. History

The building was built in 1857. His architect was Ustad Ali Maryam, who had already built the 1834 Khaneh Tabatabaei. The " Borudjerdi " family was interested in marrying in the house of " Tabatabaei " family. Under the condition that for the bride to build an house, that would be just as nice as the built by Ustad Ali Maryam for Tabatabaeis, the marriage could be consummated, which it did so.

The complex has a square- landscaped courtyard, paintings by Kamal -ol - Molk and three 40 -meter-high wind towers.
