Borve (Barra)

Borve (Gaelic: Borgh ) is a small town on the west coast of the Scottish Hebridean island of Barra and thus belongs administratively to the Unitary Authority Outer Hebrides. It is located about three kilometers north- west of Castlebay, the main town of the island, and is the location of the distillery, founded in 2008 Isle of Barra, the only distillery on the island. Borve is located on the A888, the main road of the island; Barra Airport is approximately five kilometers away.
