Boston Yanks

The Boston Yanks were an American football team that played in the National Football League ( NFL).

Team History

The Boston Yanks were founded in 1944 in Boston. They wore their home games at Fenway Park or in the Manning Bowl. In 1945, the Yanks with the Brooklyn Tigers merged to form a lottery syndicate. Due to the Second World War was in the NFL is an acute shortage of players, forcing the two clubs to form these gaming community.
