Brad Silberling

Life

The son of a TV producer studied at the University of California, Los Angeles and began as early as 1986, a year before his graduation, his work as a production assistant at a U.S. children's channel.

Repairs, a short film, for the Silberling wrote the script and the director took over, caught the attention of Universal Studios, whose leaders then took him under contract. Initially worked exclusively as a producer, saw a TV producer Steven Bochco Silberling's potential, and then gave him the directing for some popular television series including LA Law and NYPD Blue. His debut as a feature film director, he was in 1995 with Casper. Other well-known feature films followed.

Private Silberling was briefly romantically involved with Rebecca Schaeffer, shortly before it was assassinated in 1989 by a stalker. His memories of Schaeffer and his grief found their death in the film Moonlight Mile with Susan Sarandon, Dustin Hoffman and Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead roles their counterclaim sound.

Since 30 September 1995 Silberling with Amy Brenneman is married, the lead actress from Judging Amy. The two first met on the set of the television series know. The two together have a daughter and a son.
