Brad Vigon

Brad Vigon ( born April 7, 1969 in Santa Monica, California ) is a former Australian- American professional ice hockey player and current coach. Since 2010 he is an assistant coach at the Melbourne Ice of the Australian Ice Hockey League.

Career

Brad Vigon began his career as a hockey player in a variety of North American junior leagues. First, he played in the 1987/88 season at the Penticton Knights in the Canadian Junior Football League British Columbia Hockey League. He then spent one season each with the Lytes Rustlers in the NAJHL, and in the 1989/90 season with the Los Angeles Jets of the PCHL and the Minot Top Guns of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. In the summer of 1990, the Center moved to Europe, where he, one each season long at Mikkelin Jukurit in the II divisioona, the third Finnish league, the Dordrecht Lions in the second Dutch league and Värnamo GIK in Division 3, of the then fourth highest Swedish league stood on the ice. Then he finished his career in the meantime, before he moved to the Australian Ice Hockey League 2003 on the Melbourne Ice, where he has played ever since. His greatest success with the Melbourne Ice as a player was winning the Goodall Cup, the Australian Masters title in the 2010 season.

After Vigon 2010 was already active in addition to his work as a player as assistant coach of his team, he was only in 2011 as an assistant coach behind the gang and was again the Goodall Cup win with the Melbourne Ice.

Internationally

For Australia Vigon took part in the World Championship of Division II in 2008 and rose with his team on the Division I. Here, in five games, he scored a goal and gave a presentation.
