Brady Leman

Brady Leman ( born October 16, 1986 in Calgary ) is a Canadian freestyle skier. He specializes in the discipline of ski cross.

Biography

At the start of his racing career was an alpine ski racer Leman. From December 2001 he participated in FIS races, from December 2002 to race in the Nor- Am Cup. Later, he was included in the development team of the Canadian Ski Association. His best results in the Nor- Am Cup are two fourth places, achieved in March 2008, which was enough to place 3 in the combination classification. In the European Cup Leman scored two months earlier 8th place. After the end of the season 2008/ 09 he moved to freestyle ski cross discipline.

On January 5, 2009, Leman in St. Johann in Tirol his debut in the Freestyle World Cup and went immediately to eleventh place, which was synonymous in his first season with the Bestergebnis. In the 2009/10 season, he went three times in the top 10, at the Winter X Games 2010 he won the bronze medal. He qualified for the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, but suffered the day before the race at training a tibia fracture. Leman also missed almost all of the following season, and returned only after a half year break in the World Cup. The comeback was successful: beginning of the season he won on December 17, 2011, the World Cup races in Innichen. 3 February 2012 was followed by another victory in Blue Mountain, giving second place in the ski cross World Cup in the final bill.

In Weltcupwnter 2012/13, two second places were his best results while he binned in the 2013/14 season three times third.
