Bragg Creek (Alberta)

Bragg Creek is a village in southern Alberta, Canada and is part of the Rocky View County.

Bragg Creek is located 30 km west of Calgary, near the Rocky Mountains and Kananaskis Country, and is drained by the Elbow River.

The beautiful mountain scenery, recreation areas, such as the Bragg Creek Provincial Park and Bragg Creek Ice Cave, the numerous hiking, biking and equestrian trails, as well as the nearby Elbow Falls make Bragg Creek a popular place for holidays and day trips.

TV

In Bragg Creek films Storm, Killer Image and Betrayed were filmed. In addition, the television station CBC series The Mounties of Lynx River radiated in the 1990s, which was filmed in Bragg Creek. 2007 was the village location for the children's series Dinosapien and 2009 for the TV series Wild Roses. Some portions of the film Fubar have also been filmed in Bragg Creek.
