Braggio

Braggio is a municipality in the district of Calanca in the district Moesa the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland.

Blazon: In a red diagonal right excepted silver knife with a golden ( yellow ) handle, crossed with a fallen golden arrow.

The icon of Saint Bartholomew is the knife that the arrow is for the new church of Our Lady of Sorrows consecrated.

Geography

The town is located on a terrace 500 meters of altitude on the left side above the valley of the Calanca. Of the total municipal area of ​​688 ha 462 ha of woods and forests are covered. More 154 ha are unproductive area (mostly mountains), 66 ha of agricultural land and 6 acres settlement area.

Braggio borders Arvigo, Buseno, Santa Maria in Calanca and Selma.

Population
