Branimir Subašić

Branimir Subašić (Cyrillic Бранимир Субашић, Branimir Subasic Azerbaijani, born April 7, 1982 in Belgrade ) is a Serbian - Azerbaijani footballer.

Career

Association

Subašić began with the 1997 club football in the youth of FK Železnik and launched here in 1998 his professional football career. Here he played until the summer of 2002, where he spent the last half- season Players out on loan at FK Sremčica.

For summer 2002, he moved abroad and signed with Belgian club KV Oostende. After he had played a half seasons at Ostend, he moved to French club AS Beauvais.

In summer 2003, he signed with the Ukrainian club Chernomorets Odessa and played here the next one and a half seasons long. For the summer of 2005, he joined the Azerbaijani club Neftchi Baku PFK. In this club he succeeded immediately jump into the master lineup. He took while working with this club Azerbaijani nationality and played henceforth even for the Azerbaijan national team.

For the summer of 2008 he left Neftçi and then went to FK Red Star Belgrade. After playing one season here, he spent the 2009/10 season at the Chinese club Changchun Yatai.

In 2010 he returned to Azerbaijan and played until the summer of 2013 and in sequence when Qəbələ FK, FK Xəzər Lənkəran and FK Qarabağ Aghdam.

For Summer 2013, he joined the Turkish TFF 1 Lig Orduspor relegated to. Since he is Azerbaijani citizen, he will be playing here as a separate state and thus do not occupy a regular place foreigners.

National

While at the Azerbaijani club Neftchi Baku Subašić received the Azerbaijani nationality. Since it had awarded little chance in the national team several Serbian Serbian coach, he was offered for the Azerbaijan national team to play.
