Brassac-les-Mines

Brassac -les -Mines is a commune on the banks of the Allier in the Puy -de- Dôme in the Auvergne region, with an area of 720 acres and 3308 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

The existing since the 15th century coal mines, which the city owes its name suffix, are no longer in operation since 1978.
