Bratřínov

Bratřínov ( German Braterschin, formerly Bratrinow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers south-east of Mníšek pod Brdy and belongs to Okres Praha- západ.

Geography

Bratřínov is on the left above the valley of Kocába in the northeastern foothills of the Brdská Highlands. The village is located in the headwaters of a small creek on a tributary of the Kocába. To the north of Horni rises vrch ( 439 m ) in the north- east, the Chlumka (406 m ) east of the Havran (385 m), in the southeastern Strhaný (390 m) and the Sakařův vrch ( 381 m ) south of the Čihadlo (380 m ) in the west of Pleš (490 m) and north-west the Plavecká (446 m). To the north runs the valley of the creek Bojovský the railway line Dobříš - Praha- Modřany; The nearest train station is Čisovice.

Neighboring towns are Bojov in the north, Bojanovice and Masečín in the northeast, Fařkův Mlýn, U Kocáby, Štechovice and Homole in the east, Trebenice, Slapy and Porostliny the southeast, Královky, Nové Dvory, Malá Lečice and Velka Lečice in the south, Jamky, Velka Hraštice and Malá Hraštice the southwest, Senešnice, Pleš and Nová Ves pod Pleší in the west and Zahořany, Rymaně and Čisovice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village took place in 1100. Bratřínov order has been operated since the Middle Ages Gold Mining and soaped for gold. The richest deposit was located near the village of Havran in Kocábatal. The village was later joined the Familienfideikommissherrschaft Mnischek.

In 1846 Bratřínow consisted of 31 houses with 174 inhabitants, including two ptotestantischen families on the Mnischeker share. 25 houses belonging to the Fideikommissherrschaft Mnischek, four to rule Karlstejn and two for good slap. In Mnischeker share a mill stood at sawmill. Vicarage was St. Kilian ( Kilian Svatý ). Until the mid-19th century Bratřínow remained largely the Fideikommissherrschaft Mnischek submissive.

After the abolition of patrimonial Bratřínov / Bratrinow formed in 1850 a district of the municipality in the district Bojanovice Smíchov and judicial district Zbraslav. On September 27, 1865 Great fire destroyed eight farmsteads and seven Chaluppen. Bratřínov broke up in 1890 going on and formed its own community. The volunteer fire department was founded 1920. Bratřínov In 1927 was assigned to the Okres Praha- venkov. As of 1931, Llewellyn Kast Ebelsberg of the large estates of his father. In 1932 lived in the village of 198 people. In 1933, the Tramp was Kocábatal settlement Askalona. 1942, the parish became part of the Okres Praha- venkov -jih. In 1949 she was assigned to the Okres Praha- jih, since 1960 Bratřínov belongs to Okres Praha- západ. Bratřínov was incorporated into Bojanovice on 1 January 1980. On November 24, 1990, the village became independent again. Bratřínov is a resort today; on the land located next 75 houses especially in Kocábatal 145 recreation facilities.
