Braubach (Verbandsgemeinde)

The community association Braubach was an administrative unit in the form of a local authority in the Rhein- Lahn-Kreis in Rhineland- Palatinate. The municipality belonged to the town of Braubach and four independent local churches, the administrative headquarters was in the eponymous town of Braubach.

History

The community association Braubach originated in 1972 as part of a functional and territorial reform in the state of Rhineland -Palatinate.

During the second, begun in 2010, Rhineland-Palatinate, municipal and administrative reform, the Association of Municipalities Braubach and Lorelei were merged on the basis of the current and so-called until 30 June 2012 " voluntary " phase.
