The Braunau is a river in Upper Bavaria.

It rises in the district of Ebersberg near mountain Anger flows in a southeasterly direction, inter alia, past the places Biberg, Söhl and Schönau and flows in the district of Rosenheim in Beyharting (municipality Tuntenhausen ) in the Glonn.
