Brausch Niemann

Ambraüsus " Brausch " Niemann ( born January 7, 1939 in Durban ) is a former South African racing driver.

Brausch Niemann played his first race on a Lotus Seven in his native South Africa. Until the mid- 1960s, the little Lotus remained his most important sports car. In 1963, he drove his only Formula 1 Grand Prix. At the Grand Prix of South Africa, he went with a Lotus 22 at the start, with which he drove to 1965 race. At the Grand Prix he could not place itself.

After a few years in touring car racing, where a Ford Cortina Lotus was his emergency vehicle, he rose early 1970s to on motorcycles and in 1979, South African motocross champion.
