Breaking Benjamin

Breaking Benjamin is an American post-grunge band from Wilkes -Barre (Pennsylvania). The group managed with their first album the breakthrough in the U.S.. With the release of the second album Breaking Benjamin were well known in Europe and Asia.

History

Breaking Benjamin was formed in early 1998 by vocalist Benjamin Burnley and drummer Jeremy Hummel. The band was known and reorganized quickly in Pennsylvania and called plan 9 After many more changes they were called back in late 2000 Breaking Benjamin. In addition, Aaron Fink and Mark James Klepaski left the alternative metal band Lifer, who had just completed a record deal with Universal, and joined the group. The band closed down in 2001 a contract with Hollywood Records from, a label of the Disney Music Group and published on 27 August 2002 their first album Saturate, which rose on the Billboard Top 200 at # 136.
