Breed (video game)

Breed is a computer game for the PC from CDV Software Entertainment.

It is a first person shooter, which is located on a busy by aliens and heavily damaged earth. As a member of the last spaceship Earth, the USC "Darwin", to fight against evil aliens that are half biological and half mechanically. This one acts partly in combination with other fighters that are controlled by the computer. And vehicles such as tanks, may be controlled.

The biggest criticism from players was the also for the release year well below average AI. Also various patches do not solve this problem.

The game was announced long in advance and joined appearance in a competition with the X-Box shooter Halo, but disappointed Breed many players, reaching nowhere near the popularity of Halo.
