Breeding the Spawn (English for, breed of spawn ') is the third official publication of the New York death metal band Suffocation.

Background

As with the previous album drew Dan Seagrave the cover image. The music is compared to Effigy of the Forgotten technical, but not played so fast. Publish Chris Richards Josh Baron took over from the bass. After the release of the album Suffocation went on an extended tour. After the end of the tour drummer Mike Smith got out of the band and formed a rap group. He returned in 2003 at the reunion of the band Suffocation back.

Negative reviews there were for the poor production of the album. The band has therefore decided to re-record all the songs gradually and republish with future albums. So the song Breeding the Spawn in a re-recorded version on the album Pierced from Within and the song Prelude to Repulsion is also re-recorded the album Suffocation. The remaining songs will follow in Rock Hard magazine yet, according an interview with Mike Smith.
