Brenna, Poland
Brenna is a village located in powiat Cieszyński in Silesia, Poland. It is also seat of the rural commune ( gmina wiejska ).

Geography
Location
Brenna is located in the Silesian Beskids mountain range on the right Vistula tributary Brennica about 15 km southwest of Bielsko- Biała and 60 km south of Katowice in the district of Teschen.
In the southwest Brenna borders Skoczów, in the north- east on the communities Jasienica, Jawor and the city of Bielsko- Biala. To the east is bordered by Brenna Szczyrk, in the south on the town Wisła and to the west by Ustroń.

Mountains
Northeast extends the ridge Błatnia (917 m) - Stolow ( 1035 m) - Trzy Kopce ( 1082 m) and then east with Przełęcz Karkoszczonka ( 729 m) - Beskid Węgierski ( 929 m) - Przełęcz Salmopolska ( 934m ).
The lowest point of the municipality is located at 300 m in Gorki Wielkie at the mouth of the river Brennica into the Vistula. The highest point is the summit of Trzy Kopce 1,082 m.
History
The first written mention of Brenna comes from the year 1490th
From 1975 to 1998 Brenna belonged to the Bielsko- Biała Voivodeship.
Community
Geography
The municipality has a surface area of 95.54 km ². 30 % of its territory is used for agriculture, 64 % is covered by forest.

Education
The community has two primary schools ( szkoła podstawowa ) and a middle school ( gimnazjum ).
