Brian Calzini

Brian Calzini ( born October 25, 1985 in Ocala, Florida ) is an American musician. He is the founder of the band Sleeping with Sirens and We Are Defiance as well as a former singer at Paddock Park.

Career

Calzinis musical career began with the added fun song I'll Swing My Fist, which he recorded together with Tom Denney. This he invited her to his MySpace profile, and after more and more listeners the song with positive feedback, he founded Boston B as a solo project. He showed a band from Ocala, which was until then completely unknown, his works and made ​​them so out of his one-man project a band. Together they released the EP False Hope, still under the name Boston B, which later should be changed to Paddock Park. At Paddock Park, he served as a songwriter and composer. He wrote all the lyrics and composed all the songs of their debut album A Hiding Place for Fake Friends. Since the other musicians at Paddock Park had no idea how to organize tours, Calzini also took care of it. After months of touring Calzini was thrown out of the band. Shortly after this was in Plano / Texas concert. He looked at this because he wanted to see how the band played without him. Decided shortly after the second singer to leave the band because it had enough of the touring and wanted to start a family. Together they left the band during their tour in Texas.

With Sleeping with Sirens Calzini published a few demo CDs because he left the group before the recording of the debut album With Eyes to See and Ears to Hear, to focus on working with his current band We Are Defiance. The group's name, the singer, a combination of the name of the play was the Defiance was called and I Am Legend, starring Will Smith. He worked together with the band and producer Tom Denney, a former musician of the band A Day to Remember on the debut album, which is called Trust in Few and produced by Tragic Hero Records and was released on March 15, 2011. Also a publication in Germany is done.

He also played already at concerts with A Day to Remember. Calzini and Denney have been friends since high school age.

Musical Influences

Before Calzini began to deal with post-hardcore, he was an avid fan of hip hop and nu metal. Among his musical influences he counts A Day to Remember, because he lived for some time with the singer in an apartment.

Currently Calzini lives in Ocala / Florida and is in a relationship with Brittany Clemons.
