History

Founding and first album

Calzini, which is already the bands Sleeping with Sirens and Paddock Park founded, WAD called shortly after the eviction from the latter group to life. After Calzini had been kicked in Paddock Park, Jason Neil, the second singer of the group left the band on the grounds that he could build through the many tours no private life. Neil is now guitarist of the band. Two weeks later, Paddock Park broke up because they could not find a new singer. The name We Are Defiance is a combination of the play Defiance and the movie I Am Legend with Will Smith dar.

Their first single To The Moon is released on July 5, 2009 on ITunes. These sold very well in the U.S., so Tragic Hero Records (former were Alesana, A Skylit Drive, Greeley Estates Iwrestledabearonce and there under contract ) and other indie labels have been aware of the band. Due to the ever growing Fanscharr the band, the label, the band finally took also under contract. Their debut album is scheduled for 15 March 2011. Calzini confirmed that also guest musicians can be heard on the album. These are Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria and The Word Alive lead singer Chantelle Smith. Smith appeared in the song with Not Another Song About You, Worsnop, however, said, since he worked with his band on the second album and the release dates between Reckless and Relentless and Trust in Few were only a few weeks. The singer said that the album despite the traffic accident - where the band bus and Calzini themselves came to grief - as planned to be released on March 15. However, the release was delayed by two weeks.

Tour Activity

In early 2011, the group toured together with Legends, Monster and Dr. Acula by the United States. Second album
