Iwrestledabearonce ( IWABO abbreviated ) is founded in 2007, Mathcore band from Shreveport, Louisiana, who is under contract with the German label Century Media. Their music is a mix of jazz, swing, and Electronic Deathcore. So far, the band released an EP and three albums.

The band's name comes from a remark of the American actor Gary Busey, who on Comedy Central asserted during a program to have once wrestled with a bear.

Biography

Iwrestledabearonce founded in 2007 with the desire simply to play music only with each other. Once a singer was found with Krysta Cameron and the band stood on two legs after a few changes in band members, they started with their first recordings on a home computer of guitarist Steven Bradley. Shortly after their first self-titled EP was released under Tragic Hero Records. They also played together the first self-organized concerts.

Over the internet, the band shared their music with their fans and thus attracted the attention of German record label Century Media. Their debut album, It's All Happening was released on 2 July 2009 in the United States. Just two months later, the publication was followed in Europe. It was sold in the first week after the release of 4,300 times and reached 122 on the Billboard Top 200 charts, # 1 in the Heatseekers, number 47 of the best rock albums and the 16th place of the best hard rock albums. In October and November 2009, she appeared together with Architects, Despised Icon, As Blood Runs Black, Horse the Band, Oceano and The Ghost Inside at the Impericon Never Say Die! Tour, which took place in the UK and Europe. In addition, the band toured with Winds of Plague, The Human Abstract, Greeley Estates, Sea of ​​Treachery and See You Next Tuesday.

In 2010, It's All Happening as a special edition with a regular album, remix album and DVD was re-released. In addition, the freely accessible EP It's All Dubstep has been published. On July 26, 2011 will be the next full-length album Ruining It For Everybody appear. Prior to the recordings for the new album announced guitarist Steven Bradley, the band will do in the future Black Metal, which was highlighted by performances by the band in corpse paint. The Black Metal history emerged with the release of the first new songs as a large-scale joke, which the band had come up with the website MetalSucks, to themselves far too seriously acquiring Black Metal fans to parody. The band produced in 2011, directed by Justin Beasley, the independent horror film A Beary Scary Movie, in which she played herself.
