I Am Ghost

I Am Ghost (sometimes I AM GHOST written ) was an American post-hardcore band that was founded in Long Beach, California in 2004. They describe their music style as " Epicore ". Combine this to the aforementioned post-hardcore with dark rock and punk rock.

Band History

After the founding of the six members worked for several months on their first demo. To be picked up by a record label, they distributed their free 6- track demo We Are Always Searching. In the same year she received a record deal with Epitaph Records and released the same demo with 3 additional tracks and a new artwork on 25 October 2005 as an EP.

Their first album Lovers' Requiem was released on 10 October 2006.

The year 2007 was marked by an extensive tour of the U.S. and Europe, as well as a change in the line-up. After the reshuffle, the band worked in the studio on her second album those we leave behind, which was published in October 2008.

The text of We Are Always Searching was written by the poet Jason Paul Fox. The text of Lady Madeline In Her Coffin is largely identical to the poem List of Memories, the author is not named by the band.
