Brian Glover

Brian Glover ( born April 2, 1934 in Sheffield, England; † July 24, 1997 in London, England ) was a British actor, wrestler, screenwriter and teacher.

Life

Although he was born in Sheffield, Brian Glover grew up in Barnsley. His father was a wrestler, his mother had a small grocery store. He attended the University of Sheffield and funded the study some with professional wrestling, where he performed under the name Leon Aris. Glover was a teacher of French and English in Barnsley. Here he met the writer Barry Hines know what him a film role in the 1969 drama appeared Kes gave. This was the beginning of his career as an actor. It was followed by appearances at theaters, television productions and films such as O Lucky Man! (1973 ), The Old Curiosity Shop (1975) An American Werewolf (1981) and Alien 3 (1992).

In addition to his acting work, he worked as a writer for numerous television productions and short films, as well as a regular column for a newspaper in Yorkshire.

Glover was married twice and had two children. He died on 24 July 1997 in a London hospital of a brain tumor.
