Brian Part

Brian Part ( born March 24, 1962 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor and musician who primarily through his role as adopted son of Mr. Edwards ( Victor French ) in the family series Little House ( Little House on the Prairie) is known.

Life and career

Brian Part wanted to be an actor was five years old. When he was ten years old, his father died. Before his death he had asked Brian's mother, to promote the interest of the son in acting and in motorcycle racing. 1975 was part the role of Carl Sanderson, the youngest son of Julia Sanderson widow, played by Patricia Neal. His eldest brother, John Jr. was played by Radames Pera and his sister Alicia Kyle Richards. After her mother's death, he and his siblings by Isiah Edwards ( Victor French ) and Grace Snider ( Bonnie Bartlett ) be adopted. Part should have loved this role, even if he had never read the original books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. His film Father Victor French remained for him as a father figure like Michael Landon.

At the age of 20 years, Brian Part gave up acting and focused in the following years more on the music. For several years he was the singer of the band Silent Stranger. In 1994 he married his wife, Melody, with whom he performs under the name The Parts.
