Brian Wood (comics)

Brian Wood ( born January 29, 1972 in Essex Junction, Vermont) is an American comic book writer, illustrator and graphic designer. He is mainly known for his work as an author of comics as DMZ and Northlanders. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Career

He began his career in 1997, after his bachelor's degree in illustration at the Parsons School of Design with the five-part mini-series, Channel Zero, which was a part of his thesis. Channel Zero was released by the publisher Image Comics.

In the following years Wood has worked as a designer for various Internet companies.

Wood began his career in the comics industry as recently as 2000 continues, as an offer was submitted as a co- author for the series Generation X of Marvel publishing by Warren Ellis, who was Plotmaster the series at that time him.
