Bride of Re - Animator ( "The Bride of Wiedererweckers " German ) is a 1990 produced in the USA horror comedy based on a story by HP Lovecraft. He is considered one of the bloodiest films of its genre, but also as a weak parody of Frankenstein's bride. This is the sequel of the film Re-Animator 1985, in the Stuart Gordon directed. 2003 Brian Yuzna has performed again in the third divisional director, the Beyond Re - Animator is called.

Action

Dr. Herbert West and Dr. Dan Cain have developed a serum with which they can not only revive the dead. It allows them to create from all possible and impossible body parts new, bizarre life forms ( such as a human eyeball with three fingers as legs ). Because they steal regularly body parts from the observation room of the hospital in order to put together their " dream woman ", can a police officer comes to their track, but this is still the least of her problem, because the separated reanimated head of Dr. Carl Hill wants for the avenge what he once did to the two scientists and pay them back with the help of a zombie army.

In 1990, the film was invited to Germany first in the original version at the Weekend of Fear Film Festival in Nuremberg. After an abbreviated rental VHS appeared with a length of approximately 92 minutes. The full unrated version is about 97 minutes. The R-rated version has the same maturity as the unrated version, however, alternative scenes for this release at some points used. In addition, the film was indexed to November 2013. In a recent U - test in the same month, the film was then released " no youth Sharing" with. This applies to both the R-rated and for the unrated version.

Criticism

" Certainly it was not easy to plan a continuation of the well seminal genre cinema of the 80s and especially to realize. However, it must be said that this object has been achieved by all parties well.
