History
The club was founded on March 13, 1961 from a merger of predecessor clubs Brinkumer Sports Club 1924 eV and Brinkumer gymnastics and sports club from 1945 eV Although Brinkum is located in Lower Saxony Diepholz, the club is a member of the Bremen Football Association and compete in the divisions of this national association.
