Broad Ripple is a district in the north of Indianapolis.

In the 18th century, Broad Ripple was an independent village, which was then, however, incorporated in 1922 in Indianapolis. Broad Ripple has retained its character as a separate place to this day and is therefore also one of the most popular starting points in Indianapolis. The bars, restaurants and shops are busy, especially on weekends.

In Broad Ripple, the Broad Ripple High School is located.
