Broaryd

Broaryd is a locality ( Tätort ) in the Swedish province of Jönköping County, the historical province of Småland. The place is located near the Länsväg 153 to Varberg and Skeppshult in the community Gislaved.

Broaryd is a former railway station. The name was in 1570 still ' Broarydh ' written and is a combination of ' bro ' ( bridge) and ' ryd ' (of röjning, clearing).
