Bruno Fernandes das Dores de Souza ( born December 23, 1984 in Belo Horizonte ) is a former Brazilian football goalkeeper.

Career

Bruno started his career at his boyhood club Atlético Mineiro, for whom he played 59 games in four years. In 2006 he moved to São Paulo to rivals SC Corinthians Paulista, for which he, however, in the first season, graduated no game. For next season, the club loaned him out to the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo from Rio de Janeiro, where he signed a contract signed by the borrowing and then played another two years and scored two goals.

Eliza Samudio murder

Bruno Flamengo suspended in July 2010 after he surrendered to the police presented the murder of Eliza Samudio, his former lover, determined against him. With him, his wife and other of his friends were arrested.

Regardless of the charge of murder Bruno was convicted in December 2010 of kidnapping and abuse of his then girlfriend in October 2009 to four and a half years imprisonment. The defense announced vocation. A friend of Bruno was sentenced to several years in prison for aiding and abetting.

Bruno was suspected to have his then- girlfriend, who has been missing since June 2010, was murdered. The woman's body has not been found.

In March 2013, Bruno confirmed in court that Eliza Samudio had been murdered. He had taken note of the fact tacitly accepted, but is neither perpetrators nor client was. On March 8, 2013, was convicted by a jury in Contagem for murder to a prison term of 22 years and three months.
