The Brynica [ brɨɲit͡sa ] ( German: Brinitza ) is a right and the largest tributary of the Black Przemsa in Poland.

It rises near the village of Mysłów near Myszków in the Upper Silesian Highlands, their source is located 4 km northeast of the source of Malapane.

The Brynica first flows to the southwest. In Świerklaniec ( Neudeck ) it feeds the reservoir Kozłowa Góra and flows past the town Piekary Śląskie ( German Piekar ), where it changes its direction to south-east. At its another run to the cities of Wojkowice and Czeladź.

The river is the border between the historical regions of Silesia and Lesser Poland, this was formerly the boundary between the Holy Roman Empire, and later Prussia and Poland.
