Brynjar Gunnarsson

Brynjar Björn Gunnarsson ( born October 16, 1975 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic football player.

Career

Gunnarsson began his career with KR Reykjavík in the youth team. He was brought into the first team of the capital club in 1997. In 1998 he moved to Norway for Vålerenga Oslo. Within Norway, he was lent to Moss FK. He was sold to Sweden to Örgryte in Gothenburg 1999. In 1999 he signed for Stoke City, where he remained four years faithfully. 2003/ 04 Gunnarsson was at Nottingham Forest under contract 2004/ 05 FC Watford. Since the beginning of the 2005/06 season he plays for FC Reading.

Gunnarsson played 74 times in the Icelandic national football team.
