Geography

Geographical Location

Bühlertann has a share in the natural areas Swabian- Franconian Forest and Hohenlohe -Haller level. The small spa resort lies between the county town of Schwäbisch Hall ( about 15 km as the crow in the northwest) and Ellwangen ( about 19 km as the crow in the southeast ) in the Valley of Buhler, which is 17 km to the north- northwest flow to the boiler. History

Bühlertann ( with district Halden ) was from 1611 to 1614 affected by witch hunts. Nine women were caught in a witch trial, which not all of them survived. The last execution took place in 1614: Engla Kugler, wife of the blacksmith Melchior Kugler.
