Micky, the worker is an American animated short film directed by David Hand from the year 1933.

Action

Mickey Mouse worker as an excavator driver on a construction site, whose leader is Black Pete. At lunchtime, Minnie appears with their mobile Lunchbox cart, pulled by Pluto. They sold the lunch on site and Micky can not keep his eyes off her, even while he was driving along wheelbarrow full of bricks and other things on the beams and scaffolding the construction site. Again and again struck him things down, the most hangover Karlos plan by beating, or he sawed boards on which he is sitting. When he himself falls through hangover Karlos plan and choked violently from him, sounds luckily the lunch siren.

Micky has a bun it with fish, but stolen from him by Kater Karlo by cable. As Mickey Minnie offers one of their lunch boxes, it is even recognized by Kater Karlo with the cable and lifted up. Mickey rushes to her rescue, but is driven by Black Pete cornered and only saved by a courageous intervention Minnies. When the two mice escape from the hangover, roars of Micky after that he was fired. Minnie and Mickey can now jointly lead the lunch box service.

Production

Micky, the construction workers appeared on January 7, 1933 as part of Disney's beloved film series Mickey Mouse.

The short film has many parallels to the already published in 1928 Oswald movie sky scrappers.

Award

Micky, the construction worker in 1934 was nominated for an Oscar in the category " Best Animated Short Film ", but could not prevail against the three little pigs themselves.
