Bavaria

The Federal Highway 995 (abbreviated as BAB 995 ) - Short form: Highway 995 (abbreviated as A 995 ) - connects the southwestern part of Munich with the Federal Highway 8 (Munich - Salzburg ) and the ring motorway München-Ost (A 99). It has a length of eleven kilometers and has consistently each direction two lanes and a hard shoulder.

Despite the continuous highway signs as only the short distance between the junction Munich South and sour laughter is actually dedicated as a federal highway; the distance between the junction Sauerlach and the southern boundary of the cross-town Munich (eg the junction München -Giesing ) is a state road 13 ( new) dedicated to it; the Highway Authority Southern Bavaria is responsible for that section in accordance with § 3 paragraph 2a of Regulation to delegate powers under the Federal Highway Act.

On the entire route no motorway or road number is specified, only the European route number 54
