Federal highway 185 ( Abbreviation: B 185 ) is a German federal highway in the state of Saxony- Anhalt. It connects the city of Dessau with the resin in an east-west direction. Between Kleinpaschleben and Dessau, the B 185 is part of the German Avenues Route.

History

Today's federal highway 185 linking the main residences of the Principality of Anhalt. Only the section between Aschersleben and Ermsleben lay on Prussian territory. This leg was designated No. 90a as Prussian state highway and completed in 1842.

The 64.7 km long National Highway 185 between Dessau and Aschersleben was established around 1937. In the 1960s, this road was extended until Alexisbad.

Since 2000, the federal highway 185 is expanded as part of the federal highway project 6n and partially realigned.
