Burda Style

Burda Style (formerly: Burda Moden ) is a fashion magazine, which is sold in 17 different languages ​​in over 99 countries. It was founded in 1950 by Aenne Burda and is now published by Hubert Burda Media. The magazine is published monthly and contains patterns to sew for women's and children's clothing. History

Aenne Burda's revolutionary idea to settle on their fashion magazine from 1952 sewing pattern to sew the models shown, made her magazine to a great economic success. For the first time, readers could customize the latest fashions cost itself, while the clothes were unaffordable from other fashion magazines for the average woman. In 1987 was the first western Burda Moden magazine in Russian, which was allowed to be sold in the Soviet Union, and in 1994 the first western magazine on the market in the People's Republic of China. When Aenne Burda retired from the publishing line at the age of 85 years, took her son Hubert Burda magazine.
