Burning Brides

The Burning Brides (Eng. Burning Brides ) are an American hard rock band with heavy metal bonds, which was founded in early 1999 in Philadelphia by Dimitri Coats and his future wife Melanie Campbell, after they had completed the Juilliard School and some time had passed through the country. In Mike Ambs they found supplementing the band structure a drummer and already in May 1999 played the Burning Brides her first major concert as the opening act of the Queens of the Stone Age. Locally, the group quickly became popular, which eventually earned her a record deal with the label File Thirteen Records.

On 17 April 2001, the Burning Brides released their first album, Fall of the Plastic Empire which separated well, so it was re-released by V2 Records in 2002. The New Musical Express gave the album 5 out of 5. Followed by performances as the opening act of the band ... And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead. On June 29, was released in 2004 with Leave No Ashes, the second album of the band. This was generally not as successful as the previous album, but included the biggest hit of the band Heart Full of Black. This song was also used in the successful video games Guitar Hero and Burnout 3 The same year, followed by a tour with A Perfect Circle. In 2006, she played concerts as support for Eagles of Death Metal and Peaches. On 19 June 2007 the third album the group Hang Love and mid-2008, they released their latest album Anhedonia.
