BYD F3DM

The BYD F3DM hybrid vehicle is a Chinese automobile manufacturer BYD Auto. The vehicle was initially offered exclusively to the Chinese market for a limited group of buyers for about 15,000 euros. These were a variant of the F3 series. In 2009, 48 copies of the F3DM were delivered, which were awarded to Chinese companies and government customers. A retail sale was announced for the end of 2010.

The production of the unsuccessful model was discontinued in the spring of 2013; however the sales of this model is advertised in China. The less successful vehicle in 2014, replaced by the new development BYD Qin.

Drive

As an energy storage for the electric motor, a lithium iron phosphate secondary battery is used. As an internal combustion engine is BYD a 1.0 -liter gasoline engine with 67 hp that will be open which co-used to charge the battery and also for direct drive both (serial - parallel hybrid), the electric motor has 407 Nm and a rated output of 67 hp. The range is given as 100 km on a single charge. The vehicle can also be loaded to the wall outlet ( plug -in hybrid ).
