C. Michelle Olmstead

C. Michelle Olmstead ( born May 21, 1969 in Washington, DC) is an American astronomer and Asteroidenentdeckerin.

She studied 1989-1993 Physics and Astronomy at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. During her studies she discovered in the period 1977-1990 a total of 46 asteroids.

She is also Mitentdeckerin of the periodic comets 127P/Holt-Olmstead.
