Cabinet Kraft II

The Cabinet force II denotes the incumbent state government of North Rhine -Westphalia under the Prime Minister Hannelore Kraft. The Social Democratic Party and the Alliance 90/The Greens aspired to the early elections to the continuation of the red-green coalition (Cabinet force I).

On 12 June 2012 made the party and heads of factions before the coalition agreement, which was adopted on 15 June of party congresses of both coalition partners.

On June 20, Hannelore Kraft was elected by Parliament by 137 votes to the Prime Minister. So you got nine votes more than the red-green coalition holding of seats in Parliament. Several Members of the Pirate Party in the parliament had announced to vote for power.
